Belalu Bali is a boutique jungle retreat just outside Ubud, where sculptural bamboo villas rise above the Oos river valley in quiet seclusion. Each villa’s organic architecture—crafted from bamboo, stone, and wood—flows seamlessly into the surrounding forest, blurring the line between indoors and out. My goal wasn’t to create a standard photo set, but to offer the resort unexplored, artistic angles—using natural light and reflections to reveal the gentle curves of the structures, the tactile warmth of materials, and the way morning mist drifts through the trees.

Color grading was tuned to Belalu’s natural palette of warm earths, deep jungle greens, and the golden patina of bamboo, ensuring the images align perfectly with their brand identity. Working closely with the on-site team, I mapped a visual journey from the intimacy of villa interiors to open terraces and infinity pools, capturing the resort’s rhythm of relaxation. Every frame was designed to reflect Belalu’s essence: immersive, restorative, and distinctly Balinese in spirit.
